"Gah...Are you okay?" He asked.

Inu fished an ice cube out of her water."Ah,better.You've got to be careful with Kasumri.The blood gets ya every time.It ruined my favorite shirt.Is my eye red?"She took off the ice cube.She had stunning violet eyes.

Fang looked at her eyes.
Woah.. He thought, then shook it off.
"Uh, no, it's okay." He said, a little dazed.

Inu smiled."Good."She said.There was something about him.She didn't really like humans,but she trusted Fang.

"Uh-huh.." He said, and then realized he had food in his plate.
He began eating.
Those eyes.... he thought.

Inu ate some of her food,accidentally biting the head off her fork,and grabbing another."These are weak forks."She murmured,looking up at Fang again.

Fang ate his autumn salad, and realized Inu was staring at him again.
He tried not to stare at her eyes again.

Inu looked away,blushing.She hadn't realized he knew she was looking at him."I can't like him....I can't like a human....."She thought.

Fang finished his iced tea, and tried to think of something else other than Sunawa.
He noticed her blushing, and tried to figure out why.
And then he realized.
Oh...god... He thought.
He tried to think of something, anything to say.
He found none.

"Um,I,uh......."For once she was speechless."I-it's just hot in here....."She tried to find cover up,but she knew it wouldn't work.

"Y-yeah, it is." He agreed.
"Could you..excuse me for a minute?" He said, and then walked to what he hoped was a bathroom.

"Um...y-yeah...."She said softly.Once he was gone,she banged her head on the table."Stupid!"She hissed at herself.

Once he was in the bathroom, he washed his face and began to think.
Okay, okay, first keep a clear mind, that always helps. Next, what on earth am I supposed to do?
return the feeling? act disgusted and leave? This is so hard....
He slapped himself, and walked out, sitting back in his chair again.
"Hi.." He said.

"Um,hi."She said,smiling at him,not looking like she was about to cry."Man,it is hot in here."She took off the coat she had on.She wearing a knee high black dress."So,ho was the salad?"She asked.

His heart skipped a beat. He quickly made a choice.
"Uh..good. It was...uh, very...salad-y." He said.
"How was the Kasumri?" He asked.

Inu giggled at the word 'salad-y'."You wouldn't like it.It's bloody."She blushed again,and turned away.

"If you say so." He said.
He looked around the table for a distraction. He found none.

"I uh,"For once she was lost for words...again.

Fang checked his watch. It was getting late.
"Well...I have to go home now. It was nice....meeting you." He said.

"Y-yeah."Inu stammered.She heard her phone ring."Yeah?"Sh answered it."Aw man!"She grumbled something and looked up."Now I REALLY have to go!"She started cursing and ran off.

"Bye." He said and did a little wave. Then he headed home.

Inu got home and changed into her lab coat.She got on her motorcycle and sped down the street to her job,riding past Fang and waving at him.

Fang walked down the street, wondering about many things, but two kept coming to his head.
The first was the matter of Inu.
The second was the matter of getting a job.

Inu hung her motorcycle helmet on her handlebars and went into the hidden building.She typed in a code,and did a finger print scan.The doors opened and she went inside.She looked around,there were many different cages with creatures in them,like angels,other nekos,anthros,and other things they were doing stuff to,like testing.

He decided to tackle one of those old problems.
He got out his trusty ol' cellphone and called an old friend.
"Hello?" a voice said.
"Oi, Oregon, s'me, Pensy." Fang responded.
"Pensy! heard you got locked up in an insane asylum."
"Well, yeah, but they...er, let me off quicker than expected."
"That's good. Hey, while you're on the phone, mind doing an old favor for an old friend?""No that's just why I'm calling, I want to join the C.P. division again."
"Well, see, we branched off a while ago. Del's our boss now, calls it the Delaware Agency."
"Ambitious old Del. Can I still join?"
"Sure, come by the old warehouse, a limousine will pick you up."
"Thanks. wait, where is the complex now?"
"You'll see." He said, and hanged up.
Fang went towards the warehouse.

Inu stared at one neko that was growling at her.

"TRAITOR!"He was yelling."Shut up.I have enough to deal with."She snarled.

Fang stopped at the warehouse. True enough, a limousine parked in front of him.
He stepped in, reliving old times.

"Ah!There you are!" Bionet, her boss, said.
"Yep." Inu nodded.
"Whatcha researching?" Bionet asked.
"Random stuff." She shrugged.

Fang arrived at the place.
"Woah, well, nice change of scenery..." He said.
Before him was a small interconection of cottages deep in the middle of a lake.
In the shore was a small motorized vessel, unmaned, but with a small note and a long parcel inside it.
He got closer.

Domino realaxes on the couch with Noru. Noru gets up from the couch a few minuets later barking like mad.

At the end of her day (skipped some), Inu took off her lab coat and hung it up, getting on her motorcycle and speeding away.

(great, now I need to skip through the day. Oh well, I get to skip a confrontation with del. No harm done)
Fang headed home, fresh and new now that he had a job again.
He grabbed an Iced Tea from the corner store and walked to the park.

Inu sped down the way, her hair flying in the wind. She saw someone and screeched to a halt. "Oh, Hi Fang!" She grinned, getting off her motorcycle.

"Hi!" He said, more cheerful than usual.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
