Pack Roleplay

Sparrow blinked her eyes open as she woke up. She sat up and yawned still feeling exhausted yet totally awake. She looked over at Ralf but decided to leave him rest, she padded off to the stream to get a drink.

Paddfoot yawned before closing his eyes infront of the den. He started shivering as a cold breeze passed by, a firm reminder of what season it still was.

When Sparrow approached the stream she lapped up the cold water, relinquishing her thirst. She sat down and looked at the water, she dipped a paw in it boredly and looked up at the sky, beginning to day dream, only after a few minutes the cold, numb feeling of her paw brought her back. SHe quickly drew it out of the water muttering angerly at herself.

Paddfoot curled up into a ball and he tried to bury his head in his fur to try and protect himself from the bitter cold.

Sparrow stood up and shook her fur. She gazed around the surrounding area then headed off to check the territory for lone wolves.

Gizmo streached, his bones where stiff do to having to sleep on the cold ground of a bat cave. "nice pick Domino" he voiced sarcasticaly. He finished of his streach by snapping his bones back into place. Leaving the cave behind he thought, 'I should leave the territory, obviously there is a pack staying here. I shouldn't be starting any fights so soon after I wake up.' He padded his way to a nearby bush and then ducked down inside it, what he saw was footprints, they where fresh and belonged to that of a wolf. "must be a scout." he whispered, he glanced around twice before padding off again.

After checking the territory Sparrow walked around in the woods for a while, calming her strangely tense nerves. Sparrow sighed and sat down under a tree.

After a few moments of walking Gizmo stoped infront of a stream debating on whether or not to take a drink. He let his tung hang out of his mouth, it felt strangly dry. Not wanting to stay in one spot any longer he quickly lapped up the water before continuing on his way. "I have to find somewere to live sooner or later." He stated to himself as he walked along the bank of the stream. "I can't keep on walking blindly forever."

Sparrow sighed and got up. She shook her fur then padded on to a stream. She stopped as she stood by the water and scented the air. The breeze which was blowing down stream carried something on the wind, another wolf's scent. She slinked through some shadows and stopped behind a tree as she spotted a wolf walking along, curious she followed him, keeping careful not to be seen.

Gizmo's ears moved at the sound of snow falling, he felt the burning glare of eyes staring at him. He quickly moved around finding nothing. "Imagenation is starting to get the better of me." his voice echoed. A few more ways, he stoped to rest under an old tree letting his mucles untence.

Sparrow tensed as the wolf sat down under a tree. She walked around the tree in a circle to come to a stop and lay down in/behind a bush a little ways from the tree.

Gizmo swished his tail through the snow, a little feild mouse knowing spring was on it's way scurried along the slushy ground. His paw grabed the mouse's tail causing squeaking to fill the air a smirk pulled at his lips as he took the mouse to his other paw and killed it. He ate the mouse knowing that here it was the closest thing a loner could get to food.

Sparrow glared at the loner. He's tresspassing and now stealing prey... she thought angerly. She could take no more of hiding from him and so she stood up and padded over to the loner. She stopped a few feet from him, glaring at him.

Gizmo felt the angry glare of eyes burning through his flesh. He looked up from the ground where the mouse was to see a very angry wolfess infront of him. "Hello." He stated calmly then he realize why she was angry. "A mouse is not food to a wolf nor is it prey." He stated letting out a rather large tired yawn showing oddly razor sharp and long fangs.

Sparrow narrowed her eyes, glaring at him. "Well, smart one. It's something that the pack can eat and it's on our land. Whether we eat it or not it's our unless it crosses out and across our border on it's own." She replied irritated with the loner. "What are you doing here anyway?"

Gizmo just stared blankly at the wolfess's rant untill he heard her say 'what are you doing here anyway'. He thought for a breath moment. "Checking up on an old apprentace, and looking for somewhere a nice place to stay so that I don't whither away into nothing from constant travling." Gizmo said with a tired smirk on his lips.

Sparrow flicked her tail in annoyance at the loner, she was already starting to worry herself with thoughts of the pack and with a loner in her presence it wasn't helping her emotions much. "Well don't expect to be welcomed to warmly here loner.." she said, her anger and frusteration starting to over her words. "the pack doesn't give away free places to stay. And we don't need any more mouths to feed." Sparrow remained standing, her legs seemed locked in place from her tense stature.

"Are you sugesting a fight there?" Gizmo asked. "I wouldn't recomend it, Domino isn't a good warrior for nothing you know." Gizmo let out a wheasy laugh getting up, his muscles clenched, he growled at this. After a little moment trying to move, he realized his muscles had locked into place. "Oh no, I, I can't move." He said voice sounding a little younger the the weasy one from before. He felt his heart speed up. 'lowsy time for a side effect.' he thought before his body gave out on him.

Sparrow's gaze hardened "I'm not suggesting a fight but I'm not openly inviting you to stay at the pack's den either." She watched as his muscles seemed to clench. She muttered something inaudible then did her best to get the wolf on her back before walking back to the pack den with him. She wasn't very fond of it but she didn't feel like leaving the wolf out in the cold in his condition.

Gizmo felt himself go numb. He let out a small cough. 'I don't want to go through this again.' he thought. 'and winter isn't helping me any.'

Sparrow set the wolf down at the den entrance as she got to the den. She walked over to Ralf and prodded him with a paw. "We have something we need to dicuss" she said, prodding him again.

Gizmo felt a sudden extream exaustion wash over him. He groaned and then fell asleep.

Paddfoot watched Sparrow bring in a guest on her back. Paddfoot decided to not ask about it but he asked if she needed any help.

Sparrow sighed and walked back over to the loner. She perked her ears and looked over at Paddfoot as he spoke to her. "Sorta.." she said.

Gizmo flung his eyes open, 'how long was I asleep?' he pondered forgeting were he was. It felt like hours had passed even though it had only been a few minuets. He tried to get up only for his body to not respond to him. He let out a loud and somewhat annoyed groan.

"what should we do?" asked Paddfoot. He looked around the loner to see if he was bleeding, " No wounds, no breaks... yet you can't stand...strange. You must be really tired..." Paddfoot gave the loner a small smile before asking Sparrow, "What do we do?" through only the use of his facial expression.

'I'm not tired nessasarly.' Gizmo thought, he would have liked to say that but only a wheasy noise came from his mouth like a creature trying to breath out extinguashed fire. He tried clearing his mind and thoughts. Soon after he regained himself he weakly stood up. Gizmo huffed, his grassy green eyes held a hint of annoyance at the current weekness that was being shown. trying to regain balance he started wobbling off while doing so he spoke out. "thanks for the consern but, i don't need help." His tone sounded like someone trying to hide any emontion, being taught from his father that it was a sign of weekness.

"You don't have to go I'd hate to think a lone wolf such as yourself in a condition like that wandering off into unknown dangers." Paddfoot sat down in the snow and watched as the wolf made its decision.

Gizmo chuckled. "Like you said, I'm a lone wolf. And as long as I don't let myself give away to become a luxuried pack wolf I'll handle things on my own. I've gone through this before, it's nothing new to me." He said looking around for a breaf moment looking for someone. "Well if you see your friend, tell him I say hello and next time, if he wants to give me a place to stay for the night. Make sure it's not one of those smellly, hard bat caves." Gizmo continued as he wobbled away from the pack.

"Ok suit yourself..." this reminded Paddfoot of times before he joined the pack. This got Paddfoot thinking... would I of done the same thing if i were in his position?... Paddfoot sat in the snow staring aimlessly into the sky, trying to remember past events... no probably not.... The snow started clutching at his paws, chilling them to the bone. Paddfoot shook his paws and walked into the den.

Gizmo stoped quiet a ways away from the den. He put his head on one of the trees and panted.

Domino ran out of the 'hollowed ground'. He gave a releaved sigh once he found his way back to the den, the smell of another wolf lingered in the air. "What happened here?" He asked no one in paticular.

Sparrow looked over at Domino as he neared. "Loner.." She said, her face held no emotion. Sparrow shook her fur then headed out into the snow.

"It was a nice loner though...I still think he should of rested for a little longer..." said Paddfoot as his head emerged from the depths of the den.
