Pack Roleplay

Sparrow lowered her head to the stream and lapped up the water. She looked up at the sky through the tree branches that hovered over her head. She shook her fur then trotted back to the den, finding nothing else to do otherwise.

Gizmo felt something pound into his backside, turning around he saw the silver bat again only.. face planted on the ground. "I thought bats had a good sence of direction little guy." Gizmo pondered picking the bat up off the ground and then putting it back down so that it was standing. "there you go." He said using his paw to brush the dust of it's head. the red wolf then looked up at the sky, 'if it rains that would be good to help wash the snow away. Though if it rains to much it could cause the rivers to overflow and possably flood the den.' he thought seeing black clouds over to the east.

Sparrow stopped and looked at the direction Gizmo was looking, noticing the black clouds. She growled, realizing that a flood could follow it. She flicked her tail in annoyance and walked into the den. She curled up and stared at the floor in thought.

Gizmo growled at the sky then hurried out into the forest, he had an idea.. if he could gather enough of the needed materials. His (unamed) bat flew after his owner.

Sparrow lifted her head and wtached Gizmo run off. She shook her head, not knowing what he was up to but she rested it back down and drifted to sleep.

Gizmo saw it, a few piles of reasently cut down wood. Nodding to the bat he entered the area. The bat flew at the humans causinig them to run (lots of humans are scared stupid of bats) Gizmo still laughing tighed some of the rope holding the (small) pile of wood around himself and started pulling it back to the den.

Gizmo reached the den, he untied the wood from himself and then saw Sparrow snoring logs (no pun intended) Gizmo then headed back into the woods to look for something, like a vine.

Gizmo came back again with 6 long thick vines in his mouth. He panted ploping himself down next to the wood pile. "Get ahold of yourself." He growled to himself, getting himself up he started tying the wood together with the vine and the rope.

Once he was finished tying the wood together, it looked almost like either a wall or a dam. the bat squeaked out a few words sounding like 'what are you going to do with that?' Gizmo flicked his tail once as if a dissmissal. "gathering wood, making a dam. If the rain were to surely flood the den, this would stop it." Gizmo told it actually quiet pleased.

Ralf sat down outside of the den bored with nothing to do he went off to mark the territory

Gizmo grabed a part of the rope that was not copleatly around the log. He used it to pull it over near the river. He looked up at the sky panting, the sky was dark from the clouds, surely there would be a storm.

Sparrow woke from her slumberand walked out of the den. She yawned and glicked her ears then jumped up onto a boulder, laying down she scanned the area around her.

Gizmo let out a very low growl as he tried to lift up the den so that he could protect the den from the lake's overflow. He had little strength left from hulling the wood logs over to the den.

Sparrow sighed and looked at the sky.

There was a small drop of rain, Gizmo sighed,It was only spitting right now but it would soon grow worse, he admited that he would need help for such a task as putting the dam up. He decided to go back to the den to maybe just maybe get some help before the rain started porring.

Sparrow twitched as a rain drop hit her on the nose. She stood up and growled before walking inside the den.

Gizmo arived at the den, a little wet from the rain, but that didn't really cause him an issue.

Crimson looked out from the safty of the warm and cosy den, still perched on her boulder with her tail curled around her. She had been dozing a while, and wondered where the strange wolf had gone. Thunder boomed and lighting streaked the sky, Crimson shivered and hoped that he would be ok. Wind whistled and the trees lurched heavily. Crimson hated rain with a passion, but more than anything in the world she hated Lighting, and for good reason. Crimson looked hard into the storm, she made out a small shape coming in from the storm.

At the sight of the slightly sodden wolf, Crimson wagged her tail slightly. "Welcome back Mr Wolf." she said, in an almost sarcastic way, trying to hide that she was glad he hadn't keep trapped under a tree in the storm. "Terrible gale out there isn't it, I hope no one else is out ther-" she froze, remember Diamond, who was still out there trying to catch birds. "DIAMOND!" she exclaimed, and gasped and without a thought for her own safty ran outside into the howling wind and rain.

It smashed down onto her shadow fur and small icycles got into her eye, it was not too bad, but Diamond was only young, and would be lost, scared, hungry and alone.

Domino growled matching the level of the storm's roar. "I've got to get back to the den!" he nearly shouted as he heard the thunder of the storm crash and a lighting bolt flash in the sky. He ran fast untill he reached the den, he saw Gizmo at the den and opened his mouth to ask a question but was hushed by his guardian.

Duskfang stood outside, atop his cliff. It was cold and soggy, but he loved every minute of it.
"I LOVE THIS STORM!" He cackled as thunder hit a rock a couple yards away from him.

Gizmo snorted and looked over at the other wolf like he was crazy. "This storm could possably flood the pack den, drowing sleeping wolves and washing away our food." Gizmo stated in irritation, he would have to find a way to heave the dam up by himself. With the little help from his bat friend.

Duskfang jumped back when lighting hit a rock near his paw.
"I...better get on lower ground.." He murmured while jumping down.

"Lower ground? Are you a mad man? Or do you want to be washed away in a flood or worse, drowned." Gizmo asked, then thought about the lightning. "Well if you help me get the dam up then I wil try and help find some shelter for the pack to outwait the lightning bolts."

"What?" He said, realizing someone else was there.
"Oh..uh, yeah, sure." He said.

Crimson raced around, under a fallen tree hit by lighting she saw a small white shape. She gasped, it was Diamond, she was pinned under. With all her strength she heaved the tree off the cubs leg (it wasn't a very big tree. Diamond was only small, Crimson picked her up by the scruff and dashed back to the den, heaving for breath. "What do I do?!" she wailed at Mr Wolf. Then saw another wolf and backed away. "Excuse me... But I'm Crimson, I'm in this pack now, and-" she couldn't take it any more, she curled herself around the white fox cub and cried softly.

Gizmo looked down at Crimson. He gentaly put his paw on the pup's back. "It's okay." He said then looked at the fox cub and back to the pup. "What happened?" He asked all while mentaly slaping himself for dishonering his dad's word.

"It... Was... a tree..." Crimson mumbled, she trembled with cold and fright, gulping back salty tears. Crimson felt a paw on her back, she decided not to shrug it off this time, she was too tired and sad for that. She buried her head in the fox cubs sodden fur and shivered. Finally, once she had almost got over what happened, she realised she needed to do something, and fast. Crimson nudged Diamond over and gasped. The cubs white fur had turned red from blood, which seemed to be literally pouring out of a deep gash she had on her side. Crimson licked it franticly, and wondered why it had not clotted by now. Still it would not clot. She shot Mr Wolf a worried look and whispered. "W...what do I do now?"

Gizmo thought about it a little, the rain was coming down quiet hard now and that would explain the blood not clotting. He could transfigurat, but that could scar the poor pup. Then that would leave one option, two actually. He would have to hope Domino would have kept some flower since that and other food products were the only thing he could get that would remind him of home. "I'll be back ASAP pup." He said before bounding off into the den. After a while of frantic searching, he discovered a plastic bag.. Inside the bag was the usuall candy you would find at the fair, but along with that was a none-candy powder substance. 'I taught the kid well.' Gizmo smirked then bolted off out of the den and frantically picked a few leaves of the nearest tree along with a vine that he didn't use for the 'dam'. He then rushed back to the pup and her fox friend. "If I can get to the wound, I can use the supplies to help your friend and stop the clotting."

Ralf comes back to the den and lays down outside of it he lays his head on his paws and goes to sleep

Gizmo saw Ralf entering the pack den, he then turned back to the still bleeding fox cub. His ears twitched to make sure no other wolves were around (besides Crimson) and then poored some powder onto the fox cub's wound to cloge the blood. He then put the leaves (now tighed together) over the wound and used the remainder of the vine to tigh the leaves around the cub's wast, it wasn't tight enough to hurt the cub, though it wasn't loose so that it would fall off either. Instead it was enough to put the right amount of pressure on that area to stop the bleeding.
